Hi, I'm Petra Kneile, a freelance illustrator from Germany. My work explores ideas with a love for detail, texture and visual narrative, combining traditional drawing techniques with digital finishing. I illustrate themes centered around humans—ranging from history to science, psychology and portraits—as well as nature topics.
With a background in fashion design and an MA Visual Arts (Illustration) from the University of the Arts London, I have worked in the creative industries for 15 years.
My practice includes life portraiture and teaching life drawing.
